Troy Johnson has been in the automotive fabrication industry for over eighteen years. He rapidly excelled in the industry by working with some of the best factory race teams known.

Qualifications:
Troy specializes in custom off-road vehicles. Troy designs and builds each of his vehicles from the ground up and is well known for his simplicity and quality work.

Johnson Fabrication
Riverside, CA

Troy started his business and his first build was for the Lucas Factory Ford CORR Team. He then turned his motivation towards a bigger challenge and built five race cars for Kia’s Factory Race Team. During the time he was involved with Kia, the team earned four SCORE championship and four milestone awards (completing every single mile in the race season.) Troy also traveled around the world with Kia and was crew chief in the Dakar Rally. Since then, Troy has been a part of numerous privateer teams.

Curt LeDuc
Cherry Valley, CA

Troy was a crew chief for Curt LeDuc’s Factory Jeep Race Team. He built numerous vehicles for short course. In addition, he ran the Trophy Truck season sanctioned by SCORE.

1993-1991
Walker Evans Racing
Riverside, CA

Troy was a fabricator and helped build one Class 8 and two Trophy Trucks. While he was with Walker Evans he was involved in running the two Grand National Trucks in the Mickey Thompson Series, two Trophy Trucks and one Class 8 in the SCORE Series, and the Class 7 & 8 of Walker Evans Racing in the Core Series.

Mike Leslie Racing
Corona, CA
This was Troy’s first factory race team that he worked for. He was a crew member for Mike’s Ultra Stock Jeep Team in the Mickey Thompson Series along with Class 7, Class 6, and Class 3 and later on a Trophy Truck for the SCORE Series.

1989-1986
Mancha Race Team
Bloomington, CA

Troy was involved in the update on their Class 8 and helped prepare their truck for the SCORE Series.
