Curriculum
Introduction to Fabrication
Our Introduction Class goes through Tube Bending,
Tube Notching, Tube Cutting, Pattern Design, Chassis Design and
Theories, MIG and TIG welding, Suspension Design and Theories, and
Sheet Metal. We also train students on a Suspension Design Program
called Front Suspension Geometry Pro made by Autoware.
Our students work on individual basis focusing on the skills needed
in the fabrication industry before getting started on large group
projects.
Students work on several individual projects that they are able
to keep once they complete the course.
Supplies We Provide for the Students
Each student will receive the following upon
signing up: Welding Helmet, Welding Glove, Work Gloves, Safety Gloves,
and a folder for notes.
Supplies Students Must Bring
The only things we require students to purchase
and bring to class are a tape measurer and a pair of pliers.
Other Important Facts
Prior to enrolling into Intermediate Fabrication
and Advanced Fabrication students must take the prior classes.
Students are not able to bring in their own project vehicles to
work on during class. They can ask instructors for advice and bring
up problems and concerns they are having with their vehicle during
class.
