Joey Westhoff has been with The Fab School since the doors opened in 2005, and Johnson Fabrication prior to that. Westhoff took a few years in between to expand his fabrication knowledge and experience with a few different race teams. Joey was an intricate part of MacCachren Motorsports where he prepped and was a part of winning numerous races as well as a championship. He also ran the MasterCraft Racing program with Robbie Pierce behind the wheel of the #35 Trophy Truck. Westhoff hand built his 1/2-1600 car and brought it to numerous victories before moving on to the growing Class 10. In the last few years, he has custom built his own Class 10 and is preparing to hit the dirt this year.
Joey has been hands-on in metal fabrication from a young age. From racing dirt bikes as a child to racing and working with several top-level teams, Westhoff has been involved not only in fabrication but the off-road industry for well over 17 years. When he isn’t at The Fab School, Joey is running his own Class 10 team – Westhoff Motorsports. From driving to fabrication, Joey’s lifetime experience and passion for the industry is a great contribution in itself. He is enjoying taking his fabrication to the next level with CAD.
